Buying a Refurbished PS3

As PS3 prices may still be a little high for some I don't think buying a refurbished PS3 is the answer. Yes refurbished electronics are normally a great buy. I own plenty of refurbished electronics myself; like a laptop and camera. However a PS3 doesn't go through the same multi-point inspection when it goes back to Sony. I'm not saying they aren't good as new . . . but wait . . . I am. I've had friends that have owned refurbished gaming systems and they always have bugs that can never be worked clean. So please think twice before buying a refurbished gaming system.
